I’m proud of the relationship I’ve built with each and every one of my clients. Whether you’re a local authority or global software company, a small local charity or sole trader, you can be confident of receiving the same high-quality service, delivered on time and on budget.

Clients include:

Whether they were looking for proofreading, copy-editing or developmental support, I’ve been lucky enough to work with some top authors. They include David Marsh (For Who the Bell Tolls), Guy Saunders (Acts of Consciousness: A Social Psychology Standpoint) and Mark Vanhoenacker (Skyfaring: A Journey with a Pilot).

Ben Uri Gallery

Copyeditor of exhibition catalogues including Whitechapel at War: Isaac Rosenberg and his Circle, Judy Chicago and Uproar! The First 50 Years of The London Group 1913-63.

I edited and updated web content for the Orange prize, Get London Reading and Short Stories projects, classifying and tagging resources in line with the site’s taxonomy. I also wrote bite-sized reviews to enthuse online visitors to ‘get reading’.

Broadband TV News

I write occasional features, such as Netflix under the Microscope, for this well-respected digital television news site.

The Guardian

Contributor to the Guardian’s popular Mind Your Language blog, including posts on Yiddish and the loveliest word in the English language.

Hot Bikram Yoga

For several years I ghostwrote 2-3 posts a month for the lively HBY blog on topics ranging from student profiles to a high-profile interview with Bikram fan Goldie. I also wrote guest posts for various publications, including an article selected as Editor’s Choice for Runner’s World.

Regular work with this buzzing creative agency has included co-editing / writing the PKD Charity newsletter, producing copy for the Alopecia UK website and copyediting Your Passport to Renting a Private Home to meet accessibility guidelines.

The Open University

As Communications Consultant to the OU’s IKD Research Centre, I write and commission regular content for the IKD website and also edit and produce the ID@OU e-newsletter, a monthly round-up of the OU and its partners’ work in international development.

Oxford County Council

I proofread a series of Housing Benefit application forms to ensure they were error-free, consistent and met Plain English Campaign guidelines.

Surrey County Council

A large project that involved the complete overhaul of the HR section of their intranet. After consultation with policy advisors, I restructured the existing pages to make them easier to use, and re-wrote with more accessible language.

 Troux Technologies

Projects for global software company and EA specialists Troux include copyediting white papers, boilerplates and blogposts, and writing marketing materials.
